1. Membership limitations.: Depending on the country you live in, local laws may prohibit you to become a member of our Panel. It is your responsibility to determine which laws apply to you and to abide by those laws. Notwithstanding your local laws and regulations, we limit membership to persons over the age of 18. If you are younger than 18, even if you sign up to the panel, you will be excluded from prizes, draws, or any type of compensation. We reserve the right to terminate the membership of any individual whose behavior on the system is deemed abuse or inappropriate.
2. Survey availability.: All our surveys are available for a limited period of time. Basically, when a survey is launched, we are looking at obtaining a certain number of responses and once they are obtained, the survey is closed. The fact that you received an invitation to participate in a survey does not entitle you to participate in the survey. Act fast when you receive an invitation if you want your opinion heard.
3. Quota and Segmentation.: In many cases, survey responses are segmented by quotas, for example, in general, we want participation to be representative of the population and thus require a 50/50 split between men and women. If the survey requires 200 responses and after 12 hours we have 110 women and 80 men, we will stop accepting responses from women as their quota is already filled. This is not discrimination, it's just discrepancies with which we have to deal dynamically. In some cases, you will start answering the survey and after a few questions, you'll get a message that says that the quota group you're part of is already completed.
4. Weekly draw eligibility.: Every week, we draw an Apple iPod touch. Eligible for that draw are all new panel members as well as all participants to a survey during that week. Each week's winner is notified by email on or about Tuesday and he must reply within 48 hours to secure his prize. Amongst other things, the winner will have to prove that they are indeed over the age of 18 before they can claim their prize. Prizes are delivered by standard parcel mail and can take between 4 and 8 weeks to arrive.
5. Special compensation.: Some studies offer a special compensation. In this case, a detailed description of the compensation and terms and conditions will be made available with the said study. All types of compensations are always handled by ok-surveys.com - there are plenty of scams out there and we cannot be held responsible for third parties promises for compensation. Any special compensation will always be announced on www.ok-surveys.com.
6. Local laws and regulations.: Local laws may prohibit random draws and/or compensations. If such is the case for you, then you are ineligible for the draw and/or the compensation but you can still participate in surveys to have your opinion heard.
